Rhythms Is an exhibition exploring the theme of pulse and flow in three international artists' work.  The curated artworks have a sense of timing and an energy of a beat. Each artist represents rhythm in different ways.

Rachel Williams

Danish ceramicist Finn Dam Rasmussen creates a rhythm with his processes and his surfaces. This is also echoed in New Zealand artist Rachael Williams pieces.  Both have the need to work with repetition.  The collective repetition ofeach mark creates magical coherent images that can be likened to musical beats. 

Whereas Kerr Ashmore works with the rhythms of landscape, the natural energies depicted from changing light, seasons and weather.

All three artists work abroad, in Denmark, Italy and Spain, and have delivered an enviable collection of artworks to Kellie Miller Arts.
